This unique educational facility is specifically designed to provide unrivalled access to the fascinating process of animal dissection. Our expert staff are able to deliver a range of sessions tailored the needs of educators in a variety of animal and science related subjects from secondary school to post-graduate levels.
Sessions include but are not limited to:
Basic anatomy
Comparative anatomy
Musculoskeletal structures
Cardiovascular, digestive and respiratory systems
With prior training, we can also allow access to the facility for educators to deliver sessions designed to meet specific learning goals with the assistance of our in-house staff.
Each session lasts for 60 to 90 minutes and includes use of up to three carcasses with additional specimens prepared according to requirements. With capacity for up to 20 students, education sessions in the Dissections Theatre allow educators to examine a wide range of animal anatomy and systems bringing the subjects to life in a way that no text book could ever achieve.
