Thank you for sharing your hearty story.
My mom passed away last year ater fighting her cancer. I suppose we all sit in same boats or safari's and find everybody in this world has a story to tell. A loving, happy and successful 2012 to you and your Zoo. Looking forward visiting one day!

We just saw the movie today, and all I can say is WOW. My mind is so full of wonderful things I want to say about the movie and the story itself that I can't express them all. The one thing I can say is that the movie moved me, it woke up a dream that I thought I had forgotten. When I was a child I had dreamed about working in a zoo, and I even had the chance to do that several years back, but unfortunately I made the wrong decission and I passed on the job. If I had the opportunity to do what Benjamin did, I would have done everything that he had done, while I was watching the movie I could totally see myself in his shoes. This movie has inspired me to move forward with my current dream.

My daughter and I just came from the movie depicting the story of your family. What a lovely film. The stages of grief, hope and belief that you have angels as well as daring to dream. Touching. Inspiring. Hopeful. The animals were very fortunate you needed them as much as they needed you.
After watching the film, my daughter decided to donate money she was saving to the world wildlife federation. She had originally wanted a doll. Hope we can come see you someday. Would love to thank you and your children for sharing your story. 615 Entries in guestbook |
