Restaurant Staff

We're recruiting for temporary full time members of restaurant staff.

As the successful applicant you will be working as part of our busy restaurant team, serving food and drinks to the visitors.

Applicants should have a confident, outgoing personality and a good nature with children. You should be well organised and self-motivated. You will be expected to wear a uniform and all applicants should be at least 18 years of age at the time of applying.

The role of Restaurant Staff at Dartmoor Zoo will, among other things, consist of the following tasks:

• Preparing food and drinks
• Working in the bar
• Working on the main gate
• Supervising the car park
• Conducting kids parties, including dressing up
• Cleaning the restaurant, toilets and other facilities

A background in the service industry is advantageous but not essential. Full on the job training will be provided.

The pay for this role is £6.19 per hour, with varying hours including most weekends and school holidays. Generous staff discounts are also included.
