Everyone has their favourite animal, and now is your chance to really help and be a part of that animals life.

When you adopt one of Dartmoor Zoo's animals you will be helping to pay for the care, feeding and general well-being of that animal for one year. The costs of running a zoo are enormous and every penny contributed makes a huge difference.

Looking for a present for the person who has everything?

Adoptions make unusual gifts at Christmas, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Mother's Day or Father's Day. The date will be printed on the certificate. Please allow a minimum of two weeks for the adoption to be processed. Animal adoption applies to the species rather than the individual animal, as animals may leave the park for a variety of reasons including as part of a conservation and breeding programme. If this applies to the whole species you have adopted, we will advise you and you may transfer your adoption to another species.

We have three different levels of adoption, Bronze, Silver and Gold:

Silver:

Gold:

• A family ticket to the zoo
• Colour photograph of your adoption
• Gold website listing
• Signed copy of 'We Bought A Zoo'
• A VIP tour of Dartmoor Zoo

Terms and Conditions:

The adoption lasts for 12 months. The adoption is for a species, not an individual animal, as animals may be transferred for breeding reasons.
